The persons who are working on
the upper most Girders can see the
“curvature of Earth”
And if I was there, they’d be able to see the wet spot on the seat of my pants!

  1. Doug Eubanks says:

The last picture is misleading. It’s taken with a fisheye lens, which distorts perspectives and bends straight lines.

  2. Fred Foster says:

I think maybe the curvature of the earth.
You need to leave Earth to see rotation.

…like from the moon to plant Earth.

  3. Denise says:

If you can’t see the curvature of the earth that clearly from an airplane at 30,000′, you surely can’t see it from atop that building.

but it’s a nice shot, anyway

  4. Maybe they claim to see the curvature of the earth cause they are a little dizzy when up that high.

I hate heights and that would make me sick for sure. Every time I see the picture of the steel workers on the empire state building I get sick. I’m just a pansy when it comes to heights.

  5. Denise is absolutely right. So these guy’s are smoking what now?

  6. umer mustafa says:

    its a very beautifull bullding

  7. aj galdi says:

will I be in the news?

50 feet, a hundred feet, half a mile….dead if you fall anyway…which you almost certainly would not….I’ve run tower cranes, worked on high rise buildings, etc., and you can assure safety at heights if you work smart ! sign me up ! If I worked there, it would be the high point of my year…lol
